Description:

R package developed to retrieve the latest data from the Pathogen Epidemiology Review Group (PERG) at Imperial College London, providing access to a systematically reviewed database of epidemiological parameters, mathematical model structures, and outbreak data for nine WHO 2019 Blueprint priority pathogens: Ebola, Marburg, Lassa, Nipah, SARS-CoV-1, MERS-CoV, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, Rift Valley fever, and Zika. For each pathogen, the database captures parameters extracted from peer-reviewed literature, including reproduction numbers, serial intervals, incubation periods, infectious periods, and case fatality rates, alongside outbreak sizes, seroprevalence data, and model structures. The package includes functions to load pathogen-specific datasets, generate forest plots for key parameters, etc. Systematic reviews for each pathogen are registered with PROSPERO and published in peer-reviewed journals.
