Description:

The sir-julia GitHub repository, created by the epirecipes organization, provides a comprehensive collection of implementations of the classical SIR epidemiological model written in the Julia programming language. The repository covers a range of modeling approaches, including ordinary and stochastic differential equations, agent-based models, discrete event simulations, and more. It also includes examples of parameter inference using Bayesian methods, optimal control strategies such as modeling vaccination, sensitivity and uncertainty analysis, and model composition techniques. The code is available in multiple formats including Jupyter notebooks, markdown files, HTML, and Julia scripts.
