The GLEAM Project’s COVID-19 mobility dashboard presents aggregated, anonymized GPS data from Cuebiq’s Data for Good program. The dashboard contains contacts information defined as each day is split into 5-minute intervals to identify when two users are co-located within the same geohash. From this, two daily metrics are reported: contact duration and unique contacts, both compared to weekday-specific baselines from January–February. Home and work locations are excluded. The dashboard also contains mobility information quantified using the radius of gyration, representing the mean square deviation of distances traveled from a user’s daily center of mass. And finally commutes information is also available as fraction of active commuters relative to the population of the selected location. All statistics are aggregated at the national, state, and Combined Statistical Area levels.
