The COVID-19 Eviction Simulations repository is a Python-based simulation tool designed to model the impact of residential evictions on COVID-19 transmission in U.S. cities. It simulates viral spread within and between households under different scenarios, with and without eviction moratoria, showing that evictions can significantly increase infection rates. The simulations range from simple, homogeneous populations to complex urban settings, including a case study of Philadelphia that incorporates real-world mobility data and socio-economic differences. The repository also contains R code to download cases and deaths data fro the US from the NYTimes GitHub repository.
