The UNAIDS Inequalities Dashboard is a publicly accessible data tool that allows users to explore how HIV-related indicators vary across different segments of the general population. Rather than focusing on key populations, this dashboard presents disaggregated data based on age, sex, education level, household wealth, and urban versus rural location. Users can analyze inequalities in key HIV services, such as HIV testing, antiretroviral therapy (ART) coverage, viral suppression, and knowledge of HIV status, within and across countries. The platform enables comparisons between groups (e.g., young women vs. older men, or urban vs. rural residents), and users can combine up to three inequality dimensions at once to view overlapping disparities. Visualizations are based on national survey data and are updated annually to reflect trends over time.
