Description:

The WHO Global Influenza Programme provides reporting surveillance data and analysis about influenza and other respiratory viruses via FluNet and fluID. FluNet is a global web-based tool for influenza virological surveillance providing weekly country/territory level data available for download on the webpage in a CSV format. The data contains number of specimens received and number of Flu detections (by strains). It also included detection of other respiratory viruses (for example: RSV, Parainfluenza, Metapneumovirus, etc.) FluID is a global platform for data sharing that links regional influenza epidemiological data. The webpage contains a download file in a CSV formation containing weekly ILI cases and outpatient visits; SARI cases, inpatients, death; and/or ARI cases, outpatient visits by country/territory. The file also contains pneumonia cases and inpatient numbers, number of surveillance sites and activity level. Different level and temportal information are available depending on the location.
