The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) provides weekly surveillance data on Zika virus infections through its Health Information Platform for the Americas (PLISA), collecting data reported by the Ministries and Institutes of Health of the countries and territories of the Region. These reports include weekly cumulative numbers of reported, suspected, and confirmed cases, incidence rates, and the number of deaths among Zika infection cases at country and region level. Data can also be examined geographically through a map showing the density of cases per country.
Pan American Health Organization no longer provides access to the data set. The image below represents an archived version of when the data set was accessible.
